We recently teamed up with our group company Profix Window Systems to install high security Secured by Design doors to 13 new build properties for Mansell Construction in Hertfordshire.

In addition to the A rated windows the doors installed were our modern red twin side doors with brushed chrome door hardware featuring the Winkhaus Slam Lock, Winkhaus Slam lock was selected because Grand Union Housing Group wanted to give maximum security to the residents in the high performance development in Hitchin.

The Slam lock automatically engages all the high security hook bolts just by simply closing the door and a key entry is required externally to disengage, the Grand Entrance composite door also boasts some impressive thermal values to giving a u value of 1.4wm2k further enhancing to over performance of the windows and composite doors installed on the scheme.
